Extreme Weather and Climate Change

The evidence is in: global warming has caused severe floods, droughts and storms. Climate change caused by rising concentrations of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere is causing more extreme rainfall, snowfall and floods. Cities around the globe face a challenge in coping with the impacts of global warming. The massive hole in the atmosphere above Antarctica is altering rainfall patterns in the Southern Hemisphere.
